Frequently Asked Questions

Is it actually paint on the canvas?

No, it is archival grade ink. We create the artwork using electronic brushes, and all the work is done on a computer before it is printed. That way, we can easily make any corrections you want, so your print comes out perfect.

What is "wrapping?"

The print is stretched and wrapped around wooden frames. This gives you a great finished look, with part of your print showing from the side view. This allows you to hang your print without a frame. If you want to frame your print, you can easily do that as well.

What size file should I send you?

The larger, the better. We can usually make great prints from any file that is close to or larger than 1MB. When you send the photo, don't compress or zip it, and if you have scanned it, make sure the pixel count is as high as possible (somewhere in the range of 300 pixels per inch is perfect). But if you are in doubt, send whatever you have and we will work with it. That is one of the benefits of our free emailed samples.

How do I care for my artwork?

As with any artwork, don't hang the print where it will be exposed to too much direct sunlight, and don't get it wet. If you want to clean it, use a lint free cloth to gently brush the surface, or a feather duster.

Do you have a guarantee?

Yes, we do. While our goal is never to ship a print that isn't great, we do have a 30 day guarantee. Within 30 days of our ship date to you, if you are not happy, return the print to us and we will either reprint it for you with any corrections you require, or we will refund your money. We want you to love your print.
